'Doraemon' movie earns ₹9 cr in India, beats Tom Cruise's film 'Digger'

'Doraemon: Castle of the Undersea Devil' grossed ₹9.25 crore over its first weekend in India, marking the best opening for a 'Doraemon' film. With this, the film surpassed Tom Cruise's multi-million-dollar film 'Digger', which earned ₹1.80 crore in India. The film also became the 4th highest-grossing anime film in India, beating 'Jujutsu Kaisen 0', which grossed ₹5.4 crore in India.
