KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane has been fined ₹12 lakh for maintaining a slow over-rate during the match against CSK, being KKR's first offence of the season. The fine was levied under Article 2.22 of IPL's Code of Conduct. KKR lost the match by 32 runs, going winless in the first five games of an IPL season for the first time.
