Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked US senators after the Senate voted to advance the Russia sanctions bill. He said the legislation would increase economic pressure on Russia. If passed into law, the bill could allow US President Donald Trump to impose tariffs of up to 100% on countries, including India and China, over continued purchases of Russian oil and gas.
