Twenty rebel TMC MPs are set to merge with Tripura-based Nationalist Citizens Party of India, and back the NDA, TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar confirmed. This comes hours after the rebel faction met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla following a meeting with Union Minister Bhupender Yadav. Ghosh earlier claimed that two more TMC MPs are set to join their camp.
