Gangster 'Seizing Raja', who was wanted for Tamil Nadu BSP chief K Armstrong's murder, has been shot dead by police in an encounter. The history-sheeter was reportedly taken to Neelankarai to recover hidden weapons when he attacked police, prompting the encounter. Raja had entered the world of crime by committing minor offences, then blackmailing businessmen and kidnapping real estate tycoons.
