Almost cloud-free India seen from space

Satellite imagery shows sharply reduced cloud cover across India, particularly northwest and central regions, indicating weakening monsoon activity. However, southwest monsoon hasn't officially withdrawn. Broader atmospheric changes linked to strong El Niño are contributing to clearer skies. Forecasts suggest formal withdrawal may begin after September 15, starting from parts of northwest India.
