The government has asked court to reject Adani Group's plea, saying its sale of nicotine pouches at Mumbai airport violated India's drug laws and posed a serious public health risk. It also rejected Adani's claim that the products, meant for international travellers, were outside Indian law. In March, an inspection found that the products were sold without required approvals.
