'Night owls' may struggle to work until retirement age: Study
People with evening chronotypes have a 1.7-fold higher risk of retiring early than those with morning chronotypes, according to a Finnish study published in Occupational & Environmental Medicine. Chronotype refers to the body's natural sleep-wake schedule. Researchers said the ability of evening-type people to continue working until retirement age could pose challenges for sustainable economies.
