Which countries were India’s top import and export partners in Apr-Aug 2026?

India imported most from China (₹6.28 lakh cr), followed by Russia (₹3.92 lakh cr) and US (₹2.69 lakh cr), during April-August 2026, Commerce Ministry said. The US was India’s largest export destination at ₹4.05 lakh cr, followed by UAE (₹1.30 lakh cr) and China (₹92,127 cr). Overall exports in August were at ₹7.93 lakh cr and imports ₹8.83 lakh cr.
