Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey and Greece banned social media for teenagers under age of 15-16, with Greece's ban coming into force in 2027. Teenagers in Portugal aged between 13 to 16 require a legal guardian's consent. France, Germany and Italy have passed draft laws for such a ban, while Austria, UK, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Slovenia and Spain are considering it.
