The resident doctors' associations of Delhi's Safdarjung and AIIMS hospitals have written separate letters to President Droupadi Murmu, supporting activist Sonam Wangchuk's right to leave the hospital. The associations raised concerns over the personal liberty of Wangchuk, who was taken to Safdarjung Hospital by the police. Wangchuk has requested that he should be allowed to leave the hospital.
