A pregnant woman was allegedly denied admission at a Pune hospital due to non-payment of advance deposit of ₹10 lakh. The woman died after giving birth to twin girls at another hospital. Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital has denied the allegations and said the deceased's family is giving "misleading information". Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and NCP (SP) workers protested outside the hospital.
