Shehzad Poonawalla reveals reason behind resigning from BJP

Shehzad Poonawalla cited "emergency financial and personal circumstances" as the reasons behind his exit from BJP. In an interview, he said he had been considering leaving the BJP since 2024 because he wanted to return to salaried employment and address his financial circumstances. He also said that the party spokesperson post doesn't carry a salary because it's a voluntary position.
