Department of Telecommunications has warned people about a scam in which fraudsters pose as MS Dhoni to cheat people on social media. It shared a screenshot showing an Instagram message sent by scammers, along with Dhoni's selfie for 'proof'. "Hi, I am MS Dhoni...Could you please transfer ₹600 via PhonePe so I can return home by bus?" the message read.
