Waymo suspended its robotaxi service in San Francisco after a massive power outage left its vehicles stalled on the city streets. The sudden disruption of Waymo services led to the blocking of traffic across the city. The scale of the blackout caused some robotaxis to remain stationary for longer than normal as they tried to assess the intersections, Waymo said.
