K'taka police officer says Ganesha procession should not pass by mosque, BJP hits back

Police Inspector Dhananjay told the organisers of a Lord Ganesha procession not to pass by a mosque in Mysuru and not to burst firecrackers on procession route. "If you do anything like that (go in front of mosque and burst crackers)...I'll not merely warn you; I will act directly," he said. BJP called Congress, which is ruling the state, "anti-Hindu".
