Middleman paid ₹1.3 cr to IAS officer Gangwar for KPSC paper: ED

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday said that a middleman paid ₹1.3 crore to former controller of exams, IAS officer Gyanendra Gangwar, for a Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) paper. The ED earlier arrested both Gangwar and the middleman Basavaraj Kannale. The middleman received around ₹30 lakh to ₹40 lakh to provide the entrance exam questions, the probe has revealed.
