Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata is advocating a two-year extension for Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran's third term instead of the usual five-year tenure, HT reported. Chandrasekaran who was appointed Chairman twice in 2017 and 2022, is set to conclude his second term in 2027. The move follows Noel Tata's concerns over recent $11 billion in investments in newer areas.
