33,000 Indian soldiers who made supreme sacrifice in WWI commemorated by global body

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission introduced digital name panels to recognise 33,000 Indian soldiers who made supreme sacrifice during World War I but were not commemorated. Shrabani Basu, a CWGC member, said, "A historical wrong is being righted. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten." CWGC works with various governments to commemorate people who made supreme sacrifice in World Wars.
