The Delhi government has said that it has earned ₹5,068.92 crore from excise duty and VAT on liquor, while ₹209.9 crore from GST on milk and milk products, reports said on Saturday. The figures are for the financial year 2024-25. According to government, 21.27 crore litres of alcohol was sold in Delhi in 2023-24, which translates to 5.82 lakh litres/day.
