The 15 people killed in a fire at a coaching centre in Lucknow's Aliganj died due to asphyxiation caused by smoke inhalation. "No major burn injuries...or grievous external wounds were found...that could be attributed as the direct cause of death," a doctor involved in examinations told PTI. Preliminary findings suggested the fire may have started in the building's AC duct.
