Nirmala Sitharaman named on Forbes' world's most powerful women in 2025 list

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen secured the top spot on Forbes' 'World's 100 Most Powerful Women' list. She was followed by European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde. Three Indians featured on the list, i.e, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman (rank 24), HCLTech Chairperson Roshni Nadar Malhotra (rank 76) and Biocon Founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw (rank 83).
