Anahat Singh became the first Indian in 21 years to reach the World Junior Squash Championships final since veteran Joshna Chinappa achieved the feat in 2005. The world number 20 defeated Egypt's Barb Sameh 3-1 in the semifinals (11-3, 8-11, 11-4, 11-6) in Ontario, Canada. The 18-year-old had won a bronze medal at the World Junior Championships 2025.
