The Centre ordered a high-level probe into lapses at NCERT after it failed to defend its decision to blacklist a paper supplier before Delhi High Court. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reportedly ordered action against officials found responsible. The NCERT, on June 22, debarred Bafna Global Venture Private Limited for two years. The organisation challenged decision in HC on June 24.
