Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan condemned the Gagangir terror attack, stating India will give a "befitting reply" to the terrorists. Chouhan said, "This attack is very unfortunate. It is a cowardly act of terrorists instigated by Pakistan. India will give a befitting reply to these terrorists." Seven people were killed in the attack.
