HC judge recuses from contempt case against IAS officer over attempt to influence judge

Justice Pramod Kumar Srivastava of the Allahabad High Court has recused himself from a suo motu criminal contempt case involving IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal. Nagpal faces allegations of attempting to influence and intimidate a judicial officer over a pending civil case. The court directed that the matter be listed before another bench without Justice Srivastava.
