OpenAI is offering private-equity firms a minimum guaranteed return of 17.5%, better than rival Anthropic as both AI companies are aiming to form joint ventures with adoption of AI products, Reuters reported. However, Anthropic’s enterprise-focused private-equity ​deal offered no such returns. This comes after nearly 200 AI safety activists protested urging them to stop the AI race.
