The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) announced on Tuesday that it has suspended all existing party spokespersons with immediate effect. The party's Maharashtra chief, Shashikant Shinde, said former MLC Vidya Chavan and party leader Mahesh Tapase will serve as the party’s spokespersons until new appointments are made. This comes amid reports that NCP (SP) may join the BJP-led NDA.
