J'khand students call off CM house gherao after JSSC-CGL cancelled

Jharkhand students called off their planned August 20 gherao of CM Hemant Soren's residence after the government announced the cancellation of the JSSC-CGL examination and all exams conducted by TDPL. The students had warned that they would gherao the CM's residence and demand his resignation if their demands were not met. Student activist Devendra Mahto ended his hunger strike.
