Former Mohun Bagan president Swapan Sadhan Bose passed away aged 78 in Kolkata on Tuesday. Popularly known as Tutu Bose, he was first elected as the club's president in 1989-90, held the post for 28 years before stepping down in 2017, and was re-elected in 2022. He also served as a Rajya Sabha MP representing TMC from 2005 to 2011.
