DRI busts leopard skin trafficking syndicate in Maharashtra
Mumbai's DRI dismantled an illegal wildlife trafficking syndicate near Purada village, Gondia, Maharashtra, seizing a leopard skin and arresting two suspects. The leopard is listed under Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. The accused and seized skin were handed to Forest Range Officer of Gondia. DRI has recently busted multiple wildlife trafficking networks across India.
