Feminist icon & journalist Gloria Steinem passes away at 92

Feminist icon and journalist Gloria Steinem, whose activism helped women get greater rights, died at the age of 92 in New York City. She co-founded Ms. magazine, which focused on women's issues. In the 1970s, she became an active voice for women's reproductive rights and celebrated the now-reversed 1973 ruling that allowed US women the right to abortion.
