Noel may try ousting Chandrasekaran as he calls reappointment 'illegal': Report

Noel Tata has called the Tata Sons' board's decision to reappoint N Chandrasekaran as the Chairman for five years "illegal", saying his veto was "wrongfully overridden based on a legal opinion". Tata Trusts, headed by Noel, would now move to oust Chandrasekaran at the AGM as Tata Sons director. Once Chandrasekaran is ousted as director, he cannot serve as Chairman.
