A total of 42 families across Madhya Pradesh were allegedly cheated in the name of a mass wedding ceremony. The accused targeted families whose sons were struggling to find brides and collected ₹12,000-₹25,000 from each family by promising marriages with girls from an orphanage in Indore. The accused allegedly showed photographs of girls taken from social media to the families.
