Why was Diego Maradona's goal against England in FIFA World Cup 1986 called 'Hand of God' goal?

Late Argentine legend Diego Maradona scored opening goal against England in FIFA World Cup 1986 quarter-final using his hand in the 51st minute. It came to be known as the 'Hand of God' goal after Maradona said that it was scored "a little with the head of Maradona and a little with hand of God". Argentian won that match 2-1.
