Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM has fielded Shifaur Rehman, an accused in 2020 Delhi riots, as its candidate for Okhla in the Delhi Assembly elections. Rehman, who's currently lodged in jail, has been fielded against AAP candidate and incumbent MLA Amanatullah Khan. This comes after AIMIM fielded Tahir Hussain, who's also an accused in the Delhi riots case, from Mustafabad constituency.
