Wushu athlete Divyanshi Choudhary, who threatened to end her life after being dropped from India’s Asian Games squad at the last minute, hails from Rajasthan’s Kota. The 18-year-old competes in the women’s 60kg category and began her athletic journey training at local facilities in Rajasthan. She won a bronze medal at the Wushu Junior Championships in Brunei in September 2024.
