US' Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Donald Lu, said China is provoking India at every turn just as it is challenging US. Lu cited China selecting the regiment commander responsible for attack on Indian border as torchbearer at Winter Olympics in Beijing. Lu added US is working with India on bolstering its defence capabilities.
