The request for new PNG connections in Delhi has increased by 200%, from 700 to around 1,500, daily in last two weeks amid Middle East war and LPG supply shortage, as per Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL). IGL, which is largest authorised gas distributor in Delhi that provides PNG pipeline, said volume of requests is thrice compared to before.
