Rajasthan ACB registered FIR against 21 people, including government officials, in connection with alleged ₹2,000-crore mid-day meal fraud during COVID. The officials gave tenders to favoured firms who then handed them to other entities, creating network of fake suppliers and transporters. Inflated and forged invoices were submitted following which payments were released from government funds.
