A 30-year-old woman has killed her six-year-old daughter allegedly because the child couldn't speak Marathi properly, Navi Mumbai police said. While this was the reason given by the woman to police, officials said she was unhappy that she had a daughter and not a son. The accused, a science graduate, tried to pass off the murder as a heart attack.
