The tilting problem of a Bengaluru tower, with flats worth ₹1 crore, came to light during final quality inspections, when the developer had begun showing apartments to customers. The developer noticed "unusual undulations along the driveway" and a slope reversal in many places. A fresh geotechnical probe revealed that the original soil report used to design the tower was inaccurate.
