Maha revokes Tukaram Mundhe-led FDA's ban on sale of loose oil
Maharashtra government has revoked Tukaram Mundhe-led state Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) ban on the sale of loose edible oil. At a state Cabinet meeting, CM Devendra Fadnavis said the government would direct the FDA to formulate a standard operating procedure (SOP) that strikes a balance between curbing adulteration in edible oil and allowing legitimate businesses to continue operating.
