Nepal Commerce Minister resigns amid prolonged gas crisis

Nepal's Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, resigned Thursday amid a prolonged cooking gas crisis. Her exit came within 24 hours of her call to revoke licenses of all 58 gas companies for creating artificial shortages. She is the third minister to resign from PM Balendra Shah's government, formed in March.
