The death toll in MP’s Indore after people allegedly consumed contaminated water has risen to seven, with many still hospitalised. Taking cognisance of the matter, CM Mohan Yadav suspended three officials. Preliminary investigation suggests drainage water may have mixed with drinking water supply lines, leading to contamination. However, laboratory test reports of water samples are still awaited.
