Indian-origin student Savitha Shan was among two people killed in a mass shooting outside a bar in Austin, Texas. Savitha was pursuing Bachelor of Arts - BA, Economics degree at University of Texas. She was set to graduate in May and had secured a job at major professional services firm. “Savitha was one of our superstar students,” her professor said.
