The Supreme Court said that likelihood of evidence tampering or influencing witnesses after grant of bail in offences involving sexual assault against children (POCSO) is a legitimate and grave concern. The court said this as it cancelled bail granted by Allahabad HC to youth from Shamli in UP accused of repeated penetrative sexual assault under armed intimidation of a minor.
