Iran has executed a man convicted of spying for Israel’s Mossad, the judiciary's ​news outlet Mizan reported ⁠on Wednesday. The man, identified as Mehdi Farid, used his role in a civil defence unit within a sensitive organisation to gather and pass information to Israel, the report said. His death sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court.
