ICC delays World Club Championship plan after India, England and Australia object
The ICC has shelved plans for a World Club Championship until at least 2031 after India, England and Australia opposed adding more events to an already packed calendar. The ICC had explored a CLT20-style global club competition and four-team international T20 tournaments. The governing body is seeking new events amid concerns that its lucrative media-rights revenues could decline.
