Police in MP's Ujjain have arrested a man and filed an FIR following complaints emerging about him extorting drivers after freezing their e-rickshaws through a Chinese app. The man allegedly charged a driver ₹200 under the pretext of fixing his stalled e-rickshaw. Several videos surfacing online showed people turning off e-rickshaws using the Chinese BAT-BMS app used to monitor batteries.
